Led by Hockaday's basketball coaching staff, this camp is all about building a love for the game while learning the fundamentals the right way. Etiquette Camp at helps campers build confidence, kindness, and poise through engaging, age-appropriate lessons in social skills, dining etiquette, cultural awareness, and self-presentation. Led by The Dallas School of Etiquette, this camp teaches campers how to make positive first impressions, engage in meaningful conversation, practice proper table manners, and develop cultural awareness through international dining traditions. Students also learn interview and self-presentation skills to boost confidence and reduce anxiety, and the week concludes with an introduction to the history and traditions of afternoon tea, including hosting and dining etiquette. Campers will leave with practical skills they can use at school, at home, and in social settings.

Is your child ready for first grade? First Grade Prep is a fun, purposeful camp offered for children entering first grade in the fall. Students will strengthen phonological awareness, phonics, basic math skills, and social skills through engaging, hands-on instruction. Each day includes teacher-led activities and time on Lexia Core5 Reading, a research-based computer program that supports early phonics skills. Participants will keep access to their Lexia Core5 account for one year after camp to continue practicing at home. Campers will also enjoy listening to social-emotional learning stories and completing a daily craft or activity connected to each book. Participation in multiple sessions is encouraged and campers should only attend either the morning or afternoon program during a single session. This camp is created and led by a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT).

Is your child ready for second grade? Second Grade Prep is a fun, purposeful camp offered for children entering second grade in the fall. Students will strengthen phonological awareness, phonics, basic math skills, and social skills through engaging, hands-on instruction. Each day includes teacher-led activities and time on Lexia Core5 Reading, a research-based computer program that supports early phonics skills. Participants will keep access to their Lexia Core5 account for one year after camp to continue practicing at home. Campers will also enjoy listening to social-emotional learning stories and completing a daily craft or activity connected to each book. Participation in multiple sessions is encouraged and campers should only attend either the morning or afternoon program during a single session. This camp is created and led by a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT).

Kidokinetics USA Archery Fundamentals program is designed for elementary children looking to learn the basics of this fantastic Olympic sport! Archery will give your child the opportunity to develop important skills such as focus, concentration, coordination, balance, strength, stability, and accuracy. As an official partner of USA Archery, our camps utilize their nationally recognized curriculum. Lead coaches are certified by USA Archery for safety and quality of curriculum presentation. Your child will have fun with games and challenges teaching them to thrive on and off the range!

In this cooking camp, young chefs will learn the essential kitchen skill of mise en place - the art of preparing and organizing ingredients before cooking. Throughout the week, young chefs will work together to prepare a variety of appetizers, entrees, desserts, and drinks while practicing safe knife skills, measuring ingredients, following recipes, and kitchen teamwork. Each day builds confidence, independence, and an understanding of how planning leads to successful cooking. No prior cooking experience is required - just curiosity and a willingness to try new foods.

Lunch is included in the tuition. Please do not send a lunch to camp.

At Video Production for YouTube Camp, learn the exciting process of creating a successful vlog/video for YouTube! Identify an audience, create a brand, brainstorm a creative format, produce engaging content, and create at least one YouTube-style video. Sample topics may include Minecraft tutorials, video game walkthroughs, technology unboxing, product reviews, how-to videos, fashion videos, travel vlogs, lifestyle tips, and so much more! By the end of each camp week, campers will have created at least one video, written a description for a YouTube channel, and discovered strategic ways to make YouTube channels a success.

Tuition: $799

Lavner Education hosts a two-week national Minecraft championship where campers from across the U.S. compete live in a multi-location event. Each week is its own National Championship, featuring two brackets and one winning team per week.

Campers spend mornings in training sessions on building design, Redstone engineering, PvP strategies, survival and resource management, and team communication. Afternoons are dedicated to competitive play—first locally, then nationally—culminating in live-streamed championship rounds across Lavner locations.

Each week’s winners earn a visit to Lavner Headquarters after summer to help create a custom tournament world for the 2027 event.

Take-homes: Certificate of Excellence, limited-edition camp T-shirt, VIP lanyard, and Minecraft trophy.
